Haworthia retusa, also know as Window Succulent is a species of low-growing rosette succulent native to the Western Cape Providence in South Africa. It is characterized by its broad, triangular, window-like leaves.

Due to its dry, arid habitat this species grows partially underground with the window tips sitting just above soil, catching and diffusing sunlight throughout the rest of the leaves to photosynthesize!
