Sunlight: Ivy enjoys a cool, shady room away from direct sunlight.
Watering: Water moderately, about once per week or when the top 2 inches of soil are dry. Ensure there is adequate drainage to prevent root rot.
Troubleshooting: Ivy is prone to spider mites. They are similar to spiders in that they form webs throughout the plant, but they do look quite different than regular spider webs. It is best to keep ivy away from your other plants to ensure you don't cause a large infestation. If you do get mites, spray it with insecticidal soap.
Pets: Ivy is NOT pet friendly
Best Spot: In a cool, shady area in your home. Ivy does like to climb, attaching small roots to walls and shelves so ensure it is in a spot that won't be damaged by this.
